Pick up an application in the main entry lobby at 38 Columbus Street in Seymour or download an application by clicking here. Be sure to include the application fee of $50. per applicant, which covers the cost of background screening required as part of the application.
To qualify, applicants must be 55 years or older and must meet certain income and screening criteria that are outlined in our rental application. 38 Columbus is made affordable through the assistance of the Connecticut Department of Housing, and has three levels of income-restricted units, called tiers. Rent is based on annual HUD affordable housing guidelines and is not determined as a percentage of income. An applicant’s annual gross household income may not exceed the income limits listed below.
